RTE news item headline Burger King commercial is “a piece of cake” for children article Burger King is in the middle of a commercial for its ice cream business.
The commercial, which aired on Thursday evening on BBC1, shows a little boy trying his hand at the ice cream making process.
It shows the boy doing his best to create a simple ice cream sandwich with a few ingredients.
It is a piece of Cake, the slogan says, but is made of just the right amount of butter and milk.
“Burger King has the world’s most popular ice cream.
We love to give kids an opportunity to make their own ice cream at home,” said Burger King’s Marketing Director for New Zealand.
“This commercial is a fun and educational way for children to get involved in the ice-cream making process.”
He said the commercial had been created with the help of the local children’s ice cream shop, Nana.
“The kids are really loving it, and we’re thrilled to have the children of Burger King involved,” he said.
The ice cream maker was founded in New Zealand in 1958.
Its parent company is the Burger King Corporation, which owns Burger King restaurants around the world.
